How might historical representations which served specific purposes and agendas in the past, and which continue to dictate the tenor of the now, and perhaps hold out possible consequences for the future, be addressed? How might artists attend to the ruins of postcolonial imaginings as an intelectual space within which old and new cartographies of representation, memory, place and time can be gainfully addressed?"
